Every once in a while, it's nice to wander over to [livejournal.com profile] marysues or [livejournal.com profile] deleterius and remind yourself that there's always someone who takes criticism worse than you do. Read to the bottom, as to truly enjoy the wank.

Oh. My. God.

I couldn't read much of it. It made my brain cry.

*dies laughing*

Sweet. It's like Smartania, only with less finesse.

The thing is, I went about halfway down the page feeling kind of.. bad for the girl. I mean, twelve. I was a little shit at twelve, too. Granted, I knew better than to write epic Mary-Sues and post them on the internet, but who knows what I would have done with a DSL connection? It's a good thing, however, that you said to read further down the page. Jeez, got a mouth on her for a twelve year-old, don't she? She should've quit while she had my sympathy.

As always, thanks for the laugh.

Why are the Mary Sue authors always VERY ILL and their writing is their ONE HAPPINESS IN LIFE?

Is there some sort of '90s brat mentallity saying that 'Fake being sick' somehow means you are free from criticism?

Yeah, think so. It's sort of a refinement of the old "Not today, darling, I'm menstruating" or "Not today, darling, I've got a migraine", or whatever.

*sigh* Now I'd like to know whether that girl is going to look back on this in five years and think about how pathetic she was, or whether she'll stay like this all her life...

And it really hurt when she said to me, "U SUCK!"

Aww. I felt kinda sorry for her too - even up to her big trying-to-be-polite rant. But then the trolls got in and it all went down the drain... *snickers* If she really was twelve when she wrote that, it wasn't that bad. Poor kid. Hopefully she'll steer away from OCs in general next time she writes...

I second that. I actually thought her big explanatory comment was kinda sweet. I mean, it was still a crap fic but by the end of that I felt like standing up for people's rights to write and post rubbish fanfiction if they feel like it.
