Well, it's a little of everything, actually. Love Actually, About a Boy, Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral ... plus, I do need to get Sense and Sensibility and Bridget Jones' Diary, but not for him as much as because I really like them. He manages to insert himself in every movie I like even a little bit. :)

Bwa! I had the exact same realization the other day. Here I am blabbing to a visitor about how 'I don't particularly like Hugh Grant but doesn't he have better hair now, what-what?' when I look over at my DVD collection and prompty shut up.

Yup. He's in a lot of movies I love, dammit.

*nods sagely* While I find it understandable that Hugh Grant's penetrative pervasiveness may not have extended to Uranus, I'm still shocked. How is it that you've managed to avoid him thus far...for I believe you've been on earth for a reasonable amount of time already (at least enough to have adapted your alien immigrant ass to our culture *waggles eyebrows*).

Is there a trick to it? Some sort of mystical Uranusian chant that you preform when entering a video store/turning on the Television? Do you have an anti-Hugh spray? If so, why didn't it work on Jackman?

I simply dont like certain kinds of humor and well...,most of the films he has been in dont even remotely draw me.

Sometimes I might have seen it but there were others I wanted to see more or i wanted to own more and As I am not one to regularly rent DVD or videos... i just havent ever seen one as far as i know

*rolls eyes* Honestly, the man makes it across a good portion of the solar system from Uranus to Earth and he has the audacity to ask 'what tech?'

Unless, of course, space travel for Uranusians is actually through means of temporary parasitic infestation of some massive space-dwelling creature. Purely organic.

If so, how do you waggle the carrot in front of the proverbial donkey, so to speak? If your race basically attaches itself to an organic space-swimmer like lampreys to a shark...how do you steer?

Also...what purpose would you have in developing an anti-Hugh spray? Are Hughs deadly to your kind or merely crippling?
