apocalypsosComment to this entry with a post you think would be totally out of character for me--something I'd never talk about, never discuss, never say, anything. It has to be completely out of character.Then post this in your own journal.
Just a side note ... you know what I think of every time I write the word "meme"? There was this girl in my high school class named Ellen who was pretty much called Mimi throughout school because she used to be one of those Hermione-esque girls who, when the teacher would as the class a question, would immediately lose control of her arm, which would shoot skyward so fast she probably dislocated her shoulder, and would wave frantically with little whimpering noises to get the teacher's attention.
The supposition that I was another one of the uber-Hermiones is greatly exaggerated. Or something. Er, yeah.

I've also decided I waste too much time on DVDs. I'm giving up my entire collection. you can find it on eBay cheap.

Date: 2004-08-27 06:57 pm (UTC)Today I woke up early so I could get to work with time to spare. I wasn't the only one - a few of my nice co-workers were there already! I walked over to offer them some homemade fruit pie, because I know there's nothing like starting a day with a mouthful of fresh, warm cherries, and the workplace is always *so* much more pleasant when everyone is in a great mood!
But, when I went over to them, I caught a few words of their conversation, and golly! I'm almost embarrassed to tell you all this, but it turns out they were laughing about one of those porno-ography films one can find on the internet these days, if one's not careful about where they click.
It was quite humiliating. I turned around and didn't offer them my cherry pie after all, and I'm going to lodge an official complaint. With *Jesus.*
Honestly, that kind of depravity should be illegal.
