apocalypsosThings I need to pick up before I leave on the bus tomorrow:
A printer -- It'll be a hell of a lot easier for me just to buy a printer already instead of emailing myself the TroNoWriMo and printing it out at work. I have a printer already, it just refuses to work with this computer, alas. This way, when I come home from work tonight, I can just print it out.
A PA travel guide -- For reference with the TroNoWriMo. Jesus, I can't believe I'm setting this thing in freakin' Scranton. *shakes head*
A one-time-use digital camera -- Because kitties! Yay!
DVDs, in particular Buckaroo Banzai -- And I will find that sonofabitchin' DVD today if it kills me. You'd think it'd be easier to find it in a mall where you can buy DVDs in four different bloody stores. *grumble*
Batteries -- Because if I don't, then I have to take off my headphones and possibly deal with bus people. And bus people, for the most part, royally suck.
Snacky food -- Eight hours on a bus, people. Eight hours. And I'm a bottomless pit, so snacky food!
Just out of curiosity, is it really bad that I want to bring my lap desk and use it to write on the bus? (Actually, it's not a bad idea, but it's a holiday weekend and I can guarantee the bus leaving DC will be packed, so taking up more space than I have to isn't an option. *sigh*)

And I'd say bring the lap desk. Even if it's a little wide, it's way less obnoxious than almost dropping your laptop all day will be.
