The Onion can tell the future!

Also, the only thing I'm going to say about today is that if I hear one more person either imply or outright say that only Bush and Cheney can and/or have kept us safe, I'm going to blurt out, "Except, you know, for that one time with the planes and Twin Towers and stuff." It's bitchy, but that's the point.

Anyway, in less whiny news, just got back from going to see "Cellular" (review forthcoming, hopefully) and buying myself a case of Bawls. It took me a bit longer to find the cases in CompUSA, but yeah, like I was going to walk up to a clerk and say, "Excuse me, but where do you keep your Bawls?"

Re: Cellular-- Chris Evans was totally born in my small pathetic town. I think he's the only celebrity we have.

No, wait, the guys from TMBG went to my high school.

Dude, TMBG is from your hometown!? You are officially like the coolest person I don't actually know, by association.

LOL. I have somehow managed to avoid the people who say such things so far today. If they should descend on me, I apologize in advance for stealing your line. If they'll stay still to hear it, I'll credit you.

Your icon reminds me...did you see the political cartoon in today's Post with Cheney and the dog? I don't remember the exact phrasing, but Cheney is saying something like, "Re-elect President Bush or else terrorists will kill this puppy." ::snort:: I thought of you and that icon immediately.

I love Bawls, it's the only non-completely-yucky-tasting energy drink.

I know, isn't it great? I'm still trying to figure out how anybody can drink Red Bull. Bawls tastes so yummy, and plus it comes in the pretty blue bottle. :)

yes, exactly. I tried a Red Bull... *shudder*

Bawls is great, it tastes like bubblegum flavor Sprite..

and if you don't regularly drink Caffeine (like me) it is a FANTASTIC energy boost, great for all-nighters, LAN parties...

Wait, what? Sorry for butting in randomly, but I have never heard of this "good-tasting energy drink" before, and am intrigued by the possibility. It is popularly known (ie, can I buy it at the local chain grocery store)?
*is curious*

No ma'am, unfortunately it's not very mainstream-popular (for what reasons escapes me)..

You can find it at CompUSA (by the case) ... or on ThinkGeek.com .. or try the bawls.com website to find any local distributors.

It is a high-content guarana drink.. it has a caffeine warning label on it. Other than that, it's just good tasting - like sprite + bubble gum to me at least.

They sell it by the 12-bottle case in CompUSA. I picked up a case today for about $17, I've already had two, and I'm bouncing around the room as it is. Bubblegum flavored Sprite is an apt description of it, too. It's the yum.

Plus, pretty blue bottle! (That link has location information, too.)

Oh, it is pretty! And there are about 6 or 7 local distributers! Yay! Thanks for the link.

I don't know about the other coasts but most chain grocery stores carry it by the bottle (not case) in the midwest. I know my store has it in the juice aisle by the Capri Suns and Gatorade, in a whole section devoted to various energy drinks. Maybe we have a higher percentage of computer geeks around here or something.

*smacks forehead* Other coasts? Yes the midwest is a coast. Forgive my stupidity
