Sep. 30th, 2004 10:41 pmSo, I get the impression from everybody else that Kerry did very well at the debates, and Bush ... well, he was himself, like always. I'm not sure I would have watched even if I did have a TV, though, because while I want to stay informed and know what was said, I also can't stand to watch Bush lie, bullshit and stumble over his words. Here is the man who is supposed to be the prime example of a good American that we present to the world, and he can't get through a sentence without sounding like a fourth-grader trying to make a speech before the class about the social studies chapter he didn't read.
The worst part? A sick, deluded, obviously-a-glutton-for-punishment part of me is tempted to listen to the O'Reilly Factor to hear what that yahoo and his multitudes of slavering imbeciles have to say.

When there are enough stupid quotes said by the President of the United States to fill two daily calendars two years in a row... well... why would we want to continue to let that man be president???

Some people want to see car crashes, you want to hear IQ crashes. Everyone needs a hobby.

Also, not everyone has a God. Some people have Gods. Some people have none. That doesn't make people less American. In fact, I think America's strength lies in its diversity and acceptance of all different kinds of people.
As far as morals or strength of character go, I think all the candidates have strong morals. Morals don't have to be of a specific religion.

Date: 2004-09-30 09:54 pm (UTC)In my opinion, Bill O'Reilly is an idiot. He is a rude, disrespectful, pseudo intellectual idiot. It has nothing to do with his politics and in fact I watched his show to be sociable with my roommate for some time before the election race and I thought he was a rude, disrespectful, pseudo intellectual idiot. His politics only make him more of an idiot, in my opinion, and the people who hang on his every word are imbeciles for putting up with him. Also in my opinion.
And having that opinion does not preclude me from having character.
