Am currently watching The Count of Monte Cristo. It's not the best movie in the world, but Goatee!Jim Caviezel and the Cristo-spawn and all the pretty, pretty costumes make it total eye candy.

My favorite part is the bit where Edmond is told Mondego has a son. Cut over to the Mondegos, when the Cristo-spawn first walks into the room looking exactly like Edmond. Hee! When I went to see it in the theater, everybody in the audience rolled their eyes at that point, 'cause the only thing missing was a flashback to Edmond gleefully shagging Mercedes on the beach sixteen years earlier saying, "You remembered to take your pill, right?!"

Oh dear GOD that is such a horrible movie. Yes pretty boys, but they fucked with the story so god damn much that it completely pissed me off. Whoever did the adaptation of that screenplay missed the whole point of the story. Oy.
