The good news is I still have a job at DHL.

The bad news is that it's now at the station near Pentagon City, starting tomorrow. Thanks for the twelve-hour warning, asshole Bossman. (And I love how he was so polite about how he had to cut hours. Yeah, how sweet, after you just hired a new chick on Monday. No, that doesn't make you look like a gigantic schmuck.) My only consolation is going to be waiting for them to realize that maybe they should have kept me, after that AD room is so full of boxes there's no room to breathe.

Ah, I'm almost savoring the fact that I was a doormat now, 'cause I'm sure it'll be amusing when they all realize that I won't be there to pick up the slack. (Bitter? Me? Pshaw!)

So now I have no money until I get paid, and God only knows with the way DHL runs if my paycheck will even find its way to me tomorrow. Not to mention that the sudden added expense of a Metro ticket on a day when I've got about five bucks to work with is going to be fun. Urgh. I want to hit someone something with a nuclear weapon a two-by-four. I'd be happier if I had any cash at the moment, but still. RAGE.

I'm too pissed to write right now. I'm going to work on cutting up the names for the Pairing List. Just what I need to do now ... play with something sharp.
