I have TV! Like, real TV! *bounces up and down happily*

Do you realize how weird TV looks when you don't have it for six months? *pokes TV*

a) yes, actually I do.....with the lack of the telly and the Cynic going crazy and the hey hey.

b) What the frell is that icon from? I see so many icons of that disgustingly cute little girl and her pigtails and I don't know what it's from, and it irks me.

Yay for tv! Do you get comedy central? Being able to watch the Daily Show is all that keeps me alive anymore.

And blistering fantasies about the entire cast of Lost, of course.

When we moved into this house last year, we went from having mediocre basic cable, to having four channels via antenna... in one room. None of which ever came in clearly, if at all. After about three months of that, we got Dish Network (complete with several stations that we didn't have with local cable). Needless to say, that was a shock to our systems...

I do love the Daily Show. Alas, it seems we don't have Comedy Central. *pokes TV again*

I realized last night that unlike how I used to keep it on constantly just for the background noise, I don't really need it on all that after all that withdrawal. (Which is good, because it tends to distract me from writing.)

Sort of like a computer screen, only with moving pictures?

... Somewhat. Have you ever used a program like QuickTime or Windows Media Player to look at a video file, and put it into full-screen mode? It's kinda like that...

Like downloading tv episodes and watching them on your computer?

*shifty look*

Don't know what you're talking about.
