I realized last night that unlike how I used to keep it on constantly just for the background noise, I don't really need it on all that after all that withdrawal. (Which is good, because it tends to distract me from writing.)

When we moved into this house last year, we went from having mediocre basic cable, to having four channels via antenna... in one room. None of which ever came in clearly, if at all. After about three months of that, we got Dish Network (complete with several stations that we didn't have with local cable). Needless to say, that was a shock to our systems...
