Love Charlie, the lovable dope. And Claire and Sawyer and Sayid and Locke and Hurley ... my God, Hurley's such a big cuddly bunny rabbit. I blame [livejournal.com profile] aralinde for making me see Claire/Hurley from minute one. :)

I suppose it's too much to hope that the giant boar will suddenly learn to teleport specifically to go back to the mainland and maul Locke's boss.

EDIT: I think I'm happiest when I see shades of Hurley/anyone. Like Hurley/Charlie just now.

MIRACLE WORKER OF EDIT: You know, someone suggested Locke might have MS and have his good days where he can walk and his bad days when he can't, but I'm not sure about it. He just seems ... I don't know, too overconfident about being able to walk again, like he doesn't expect he'll wake up tomorrow and have a "bad day".

Though I still keep expecting him to lean over to the person sitting next to him and say, "You know, my daughter and her partner won a gold medal for figure skating at the Olympics for doing the Pamchenko."

LEAD ACTOR OF EDIT: Jack annoys me. But then again, every show I like in the least little bit, I usually hate the intended hero.

Aw. Claire's so cute. And Shannon ... Shannon and her useless clothing need to be eaten.

"Walkabout" was on tonight. My wife wanted to watch it, but I realized that in retrospect, the scene with Locke's boss in the lunch room was even more discomforting than it originally was.

You've got to admit, though, the "TPS reports" bit was funny. :)

That's cool.

I'm hoping Locke gets home and throws a knife through his neck, though. "Post Traumatic Stress, your honour. Sorry!"

Is not Sawyer Teh Awesome? My roommate doesn't get my Sawyer love. She says he's an asshole. Me: "Yes, but he's a fun asshole. And he reads Watership Down!"

Is that what he was reading? Crap, I may have to like him a little bit. Betcha he identifies either with Holly (aka, the down-trodden hero who survives against all odds) or General Woundwort (da man rabbit in CHARGE!).

Have you seen [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's reviews? They're high-LAR-ious! I've got them in my memories if you want to read them without searching.

Yup, I've been reading them. Between them and TWoP, it's the only way I've been keeping up. :)

At least for one episode. As far as I can tell, either you'll be instantly hooked, or you'll say, "Meh" and that'll be that. (Although if you don't get horribly attached to Sawyer, Sayid, Claire, Charlie, Hurley, or Locke, I worry. They're great characters. :))

Lost

I despise Jack oh so very much. He's the whiniest leader I've ever seen, and given my level of geekery, that's saying something. He really needs to get eaten.

I adore Hurley, especially that headband he was sporting in the episode. He's got better accessories than Shannon and speaking of, could her clothes at least match? That neon green skirt had no excuse for living.

And Locke. He and Sawyer make the show for me. If I weren't interested in what happens to them, I wouldn't be watching at all.

The more I watch, the more theories I come up with. So far since I've woken up, I've gotten ideas that Sun and Jin may have lost a child (not in the crash, but before they left Australia, maybe a while back) and that Walt wasn't in Australia a few years like Michael said. (He's a young kid who spent "a few years" in Australia and still has a perfect American accent? Kids pick up accents and other languages easily. Something's definitely not right there.)

Sawyer is killing me, because I have no idea what the hell he did before he got on that plane. If they've been dropping clues, I sure as hell can't figure them out.

Jack? Is so boring. Claire? Is the cutest thing that ever cuted. EVER. Shannon? Needs to be the verynextcasualty. PLEASE. Her and her frilly pink dresses need to fall victim to quicksand or falling plotholes or anything.

CLAIRE/HURLEY IS SO CANON. Almost. Kinda. Sorta.

For some reason, I love it that I adore Claire to itty bitty pieces, but she's played by the same actress who killed Roswell for me. Ysy for Emilie de Raven redeeming herself in my eyes. :)

I think I would like Shannon at least a little if she would just do something. Jesus, Jack may be a crappy leader, but at least he's helping, and Kate may need a bit more of a personality, but at least she always helps out, and Sawyer may be an asshole, but at least he's a fun asshole. What exactly is Shannon's point? I think my favorite snarky moment when I was watching last night was when Kate told Claire she was separating the practical clothes from the impractical, and I thought, "Why? Are we compiling an even more useless wardrobe for Shannon?" *sigh*

I realized last night that Charlie/Claire/Hurley should just live together in sin for the rest of their lives. All three of them are so delightfully adorable. :)

I don't know all the names yet but I knew it was a good show when Pippin was making lovey-eyes at the hot pregnant chick

Not to nitpick, but it was Merry, not Pippin.

Once again, Merry is the interchangeable back-up hobbit.

*spew* That or "You know, I used to rule a virtual reality computer game with an iron fist. Hey, my daughter's partner was in that game too....."
