I told you guys watching Lost would make me want to write fic. ;) So help me out, because I still missed three episodes ... aside from Charlie's LOTR tat and "Living is easy with eyes closed", does he have any other tattoos that you guys might have noticed? Do any of the other castaways have any? (Particularly Hurley or Claire. 'Cause, well, duh.)

*snerk* I would write tattoo fic. *giggles*

EDIT: Oh, and Charlie's mentioned his bandmates by name, right? (Or, you know, not. Has he?)

I think Jack has some tattoos--I may be wrong, but I've heard that these are the actors' own real tattoos and they just didn't cover them up. Jack's involves a pyramid and a 5, which may be a Matthew Fox/"Party of Five" thing.

Charlie's never mentioned any of his bandmates by name. Now, either this episode or the next, I know we're getting Charlie-centric flashbacks, so they may show up then.

I understand that Ep 5 (this upcoming one) is supposed to be centered around the Korean couple. I've heard rumors that Sun(?), the wife, actually understands English, although she might not be able to speak it. They actually hint at this in Walkabout, when Walt, the kid, asks what she's doing and she demonstrates that she's brushing her teeth with that plant.

I can definitely see Hurley&Charlie&Claire forming a 3some group, even if there's no sex going on. There's already evidence that each leg of that triad works.

I think Jin understands it, too. Kate asked him where he got the water bottle and he immediately pointed to Sawyer.

I got more of an impression that she knows English when she asked Jin when somebody on the island was going to tell them what to do, something that wouldn't be possible unless one or both of them understand English. (That also bugs me, that she's looking for someone to lead them and he basically says, "We'll just hang out over here by ourselves and I'll tell you what to do.")

So far, the clues on those two are driving me nuts. I think they may have lost a child, not in the crash but before, but I don't have any proof other than a couple of their reactions to Claire and Walt. I think they lived in America, not Korea, thereby explaining any grasp of English they might have. They know a lot about surviving in a hostile environment, but I have no idea where they could have gotten the knowledge. (I'd guess the army, for Jin at least, but they already have Sayid as a veteran.)

Urgh. If I keep writing about them, I'm going to want to write fic about them. *sigh*

I totally get a best-bud vibe from Charlie and Hurley, a sweet flirtacious vibe from Charlie and Claire, and a big-brother-protector type vibe from Hurley towards Claire. They all need to leave the island and move in together and be Mommy and baby and Uncle Hurley and step-Daddy. :)

It's the November 3 episode, according to what AICN said about the TV Guide article. This week's is Sun and Jin. (Which is a good thing, because those two are goddamn killing me with theories. I still think they lost a child before they got on the plane, but I don't have much to back up my theory.)

This is so sick. I've already got five thousand theories about this show and I've only seen two episodes. *headwall*

dom monaghan has a bunch of tattoos. the only other one i can think of off the top of my head is a bunch of little stars on one of his feet. jack definitely has a tattoo, and claire seems like the tattoo type. um. the nov 7 (?) episode is charlie-centric, and we learn about his bandmates and stuff. i could be wrong about the date though. hm. but the info is out there, if you don't mind digging around for it.

The keeping to themselves/protecting/lording over his wife thing is a very Korean attitude to have, though.

The part I find funny is that when I was in Korea, anyone who spoke even the tiniest, most mangled bit of English wanted to practice on me. So you stand there at the subway with these crazy, adorable people nattering away at you in words that may or may not make sense. So really, Jin and Sun should be wandering around trying to talk to *everyone*, but alas. What I want to know is what they were doing in Australia.

I was checking out the official Lost site, and one of the sub-pages is a diary apparently being kept by one of the background people. She specifically mentions the "Living is easy" tat, so I think it's a safe bet that it'll be important.
