I don't know why I'm bothering to vote, actually. I live in Idaho. We have two electoral votes and the Mormons run this state, so it ALWAYS goes Republican.

in the eminem video, he's urging all the disaffected youth to come out and vote, essentially--the black kid who's tired of being pulled over by the cops, the young mother (?) who's being evicted (because she doesn't have any more welfare?), the white kid who's being sent to iraq, etc etc, and this army of youth all wearing black hoodies and storming the white house to register.

It's not just the black kid who's tired of being pulled over by the cops, but the black kid who's tired of being the victim of racial profiling wherein he has to answer to the cops for the crime of "walking while black", so to speak.

As for the mother, her part is a comment on how many people have suffered economically under Bush's leadership, and the only thing Bush has done to help is tax cuts, the majority of which went to the richest. Her bit is also a comment on how Bush uses spikes in the terror alert to distract people from problems at home.

And the white guy being sent to Iraq isn't just being sent, he's being resent thanks to the back-door draft.
