Nov. 11th, 2004 10:54 amTwo things that are annoying:
1. Wanting to cash a check, but realizing the bank's probably closed because of Veterans Day.
2. Wanting to go shopping but only having a checkbook to work with, spending forever looking for your ID, then picking it up your checkbook and realizing you stuck your driver's license in the back specifically so you wouldn't lose it.

Luckily, this icon makes me happy. :)

Date: 2004-11-11 03:41 pm (UTC)This is one thing I like about my bank: Being able to make deposits via ATM. The downside is, there's only one ATM that they have that lets me do it, and if it's down (like it was recently), then I'm pretty well screwed, because I'm rarely awake and/or not at work when the bank is open.
It's a really, really, REALLY long walk back.
Date: 2004-11-11 08:45 pm (UTC)You're halfway across the country, you pulled money out from the ATM near home that morning before flying out, and need to check in to the hotel you'd made reservations at- but upon checking in, find your card gone-
Someone took it!
Wait, they took JUST the debit card? And left everything else?
Then it dawns on you.
(imagine zipping back your entire path in fast reverse from the past 24 hours-)
You left it in that ATM machine that morning.
And you only have 70 bucks.
And the bank will give you the card, no problem- when you get back.
And you don't return home for another 6 days.
Ohh, my head hurts instantaneously.
