I just realized how very, very easy it would be for me to slash my main character with his archnemesis (if you could even call Lucas that). Great. Now I'm going to have homoerotic subtext rolling around in my brain when I have to write scenes with two characters who look like Dominic Monaghan and a younger Johnny Depp.

And yes, there's a bad side to that mental image. It's distracting, is what it is.

Picking out that icon for this post didn't help me, either. Damn it, I'm only supposed to be writing them running into each other at Wal-Mart where Lucas is buying condoms, for crying out loud!
