You know, I've been trying to come up with something to give myself as a present if I finish NaNoWriMo this year, and I just came up with the best idea. :)

It means I'll have to save up a nice amount of money before December 1, so it'd mean no more DVDs 'til then anyway, but ooooo, does this ever count as motivation. *bounces up and down happily and wishes to go home because the itch to write is driving me nuts*

EDIT: CNN senior political correspondent Candy Crowley, in an attempt to portray Senator John Kerry as out-of-touch, suggested that green tea is a rare and exotic beverage unfamiliar to "most of America." -- Yeah, them hicks don't know nothin' about this 'green tea' you speak of. *eye roll*

AAAAAAAND ANOTHER ONE: Karl Rove in Running for Time's Person of the Year -- *gags*

You know, if you told us all what it is we could help with the motivation factor, ie "Keep going, TP -- another # words and you'll get that awesome ____"

Not that I'm nosy. Just helpful.

The world would be a much better place if that blank could be filled in with 'orgasm'.

FWIW, "Person of the Year" isn't an honor as such. It's not like "Father of the Year". Time picks people of the year in terms of the impact and/or significance they had. So not to self-Godwin this or anything, but Hitler could be person of the year Time-wise since hey, can't say the guy didn't leave an impact.

Heck, Hitler was Man of the Year. So was Stalin--twice. Yeah, this is sounding about right.

So if I continue drinking my tea, I'll be making myself unfamiliar to most of America?

We SO know green tea.

If my itty bitty town deep in a red state has it at the grocery store (yes) and the minimart (surprisingly, yes), EVERYONE should know what it is.

Can't seem to find waterchesnuts at the grocery, though.
