Nov. 23rd, 2004 01:21 pmI'm covering for Oh-Woe-Is-Me-Ooooo at the front counter right now, and instead of writing, all I can do is just be grateful I'm not doing real work.
In related news, I'm pretty sure that come December 1st, my brain is going to explode. Have paper towels handy.
*sigh* I hope in tonight's TAR episode, Jonathan gets devoured by a rain of piranhas from the sky falling specifically on him. I'm sure I'll appreciate it considering how my day's been turning out so far. (Or I'd just appreciate it in general, because my God, what an ass.)

Date: 2004-11-23 10:49 am (UTC)Sorry, I'll have used them all. I'm 650 words away from finishing NaNo. I've written over 4,000 words today, and I'm not sure I have any more left. But like a puking Olympic marathoner, I am draggggggging my carcass toward the finish line. I think I'm leaking brains on the way. Careful not to slip.

Date: 2004-11-23 10:57 am (UTC)Go, you! Now all I have to do is catch up. Sixteen thousand words in seven days ... a little over two thousand words a day ... I'm sure I'll be fine. *headwall*

Date: 2004-11-23 11:07 am (UTC)You can do it! I find that if I break it up into smaller bits, I can write more (500-700 in the morning, then that much at lunch, etc.) Plus, there's a whole weekend with no work. Get some snacks in, turn off the phone, unplug the tv, and go to town!
Re: Jonathan
Date: 2004-11-23 03:00 pm (UTC)And is it just me, or does Gus (CIADad) really not want to be there?
Re: Jonathan
Date: 2004-11-23 03:11 pm (UTC)Oh, Gus definitely doesn't want to be there. Which is sad, because you can tell Hera was probably dying to be on the show.
Man, I'm so tempted to try and talk my mom or dad into applying for the next season. My brother's still too young, and he's the one I'd really love to apply for the show with, but I think I could handle traveling with my mom or dad. Actually, I think my dad and I would have more fun, but I don't doubt my mother and I would be more fun to watch.

Date: 2004-11-23 03:50 pm (UTC)Secondly, I'd love to be on the show but I'd probably die before the end of the first leg. But what a way to go!

Date: 2004-11-23 04:00 pm (UTC)And I wouldn't even care if we got cut, if it meant I got out of the country for the first time ever. Iceland was so very pretty, I wouldn't have minded being cut. *g*
