Hi, I'm from Scranton- and have spent way too much time in the Avoca airport. I have even flown out of both of it's gate. A1 and B2. Both located on the second floor (size of my living + dining rooms) about 30 feet apart from each other with a single ticketing gate in between. However, the cafe downstairs there does have some good fries with cheese and gravy (Scranton thing) but their coffee sucks rocks.
Are there still 3 polka radio stations in NEPA? I wonder that sometimes.
I saw that movie for the first time while at a theatre in Scranton. Of course, everyone laughed like madmen... probably because of the airport shot.
I have noted that whenever the ass-end-of-nowhere or poorest-town-in-the-northeast needs to be portrayed, Scranton seems to be the answer for film. Might be why I now live in Florida.
