[livejournal.com profile] domarzione's questions ...

1) I'm fairly sure we've never met online. Why did you add me to your friendslist? Why have you stayed?
Answer: I friend everybody who's X-Men fic I like. So you're officially stuck on my friends list. :)

2) Do you have to have read/seen the source material before writing fanfic or can you write solely by using fanon?
Answer: I'd rather try not to use fanon, which is one of the main reasons I've never written either Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter fic. I avoid the HP fic because I'm always afraid I'm going to confuse canon and fanon, and I keep clear of the LOTR fic because, um ... I've never actually read the books and I'd hate to get all my info from fanon.

3) The furthest away from home you've been geographically? What about culturally?
Geographically: Unfortunately, New Orleans. Not that I didn't like New Orleans, I loved it (any place that's that hot and humid is my kind of place), but I just wish I could afford to go more places. I'm absolutely dying to go to Australia and Scotland. *sigh* Maybe after I win the lottery or something. As for culturally, I'd have to say college. Following up spending my entire life in the middle of nowhere in dairy country by going to place where my best friends were from Nigeria, Kenya, Columbia, and Britain was an experience.

4) Favorite Muppet?
Answer: Waldorf and Stadler, the two guys in the balcony. Ooo! And also Janice, the blond chick in the band, but only because when I was a kid, that's all I heard was, "You look just like her," and that was the only time I ever thought being told that was very cool.

5) Genre you wish you could write? Fandom?
Answer: I seriously wish I could write love scenes better, but I'm just grateful I can scam my way through them on a superficial level without looking like a rube. As for fandom, I'd love to write Harry Potter, but aside from the canon/fanon thing, I don't trust my grasp on Rowling's style enough to write it.

[livejournal.com profile] nute's questions ...

1) What's your favorite body part? Both on you and someone else.
Answer: On me, I like my eyes. With a little eyeliner and a bit of pink eyeshadow, my eyes are big, blue, and beautiful. (I also adore my tats, but damn it, they don't count.) As for other people, on guys, I love abs. Washboard abs make me go all fluttery. On all people, though, I like people's eyes and their hands.

2) How well could you function if suddenly the world lost electricity permanently?
Answer: I would love that. Okay, granted, I'd have to wait for the shakes from email withdrawal to die down, but I'm like Burgess Meredith on the Twilight Zone ... as long as I have books to entertain me,I'll get by. (Of course, also like Burgess Meredith, I'd probably do something exceedingly lame to make reading impossible. I don't have glasses, but I'm sure it wouldn't take me long at all to gouge my own eyes out.

3) You use Livejournal to bring the funny. Where do you deal with the serious?
Answer: In person or around my close friends. When I get pissy, my impatience goes into overdrive and I need sympathy right now from people I'm used to and people I know personally. Besides, the funny's usually a pretty good outlet for my frustrations, too.

4) LOTR-fic: Does it suck or blow, and why?
Answer: Depends on who Legolas is screwing.

5) Six Dominican friars armed with highly-effective socks full of coins; or four football linebackers who have to wear cheerleading outfits -- who do you think would be more fun to go door-to-door visiting your enemies with?
Answer: It'd have to be the linebackers. I don't think I'd make it very far without losing a few friars. I've got a friend with a thing for monks. :) (See, this is where we sit back and wait for her to defend herself. *eg*)

Bwa-ha-ha! This is *so* true!

5) Six Dominican friars armed with ...

Think she could handle six? Oh, who am I kidding. She'd have them bound and naked and be using their coins for laundry.

Love the answer to #4 and that is so true...

in my mind, though, And because this is my favorite fic series, Legolas belongs to Elrond. Hey, elves should stay with elves in my mind.

C, really a Haldir fan

okay, i can't find the entry where you started telling people you would interview them, but would you interview me?

I'm going to try my best to try and think up questions for you and the rest of the Misfits, but I suck at it...

It's down a couple entries, actually. Give me a little bit and I'll come up with some. I've still got six more people or so to get through and I'm trying to be as original as possible with everybody.
