Apparently, Apple Trailers vomited up a whole bunch of trailers for the holidays. That's not me complaining, by the way. Anyway ...

Dark Water -- Jennifer Connelly in a horror movie. I call no downside. :)

Bewitched -- You know, I love Will Ferrell and everything he does, but it's Nicole Kidman that's turning me off. 'Cause that nose-twitch is just ... just NO.

The Pacifier -- It's the gag at the end that makes me giggle, I swear.

Assisted Living -- I think I love this trailer just for being small and cute with lots of little old people in it. And also, the monkey.

The Upside of Anger -- I like Kevin Costner in a trailer. That's bad, right?

Unleashed -- Jet Li, Morgan Freeman, and the trailer music is my favorite Muse song. Yay! :)

The New World -- I believe this would be the "Colin Farrell and his mullet land in the New World and hang out with Indians" movie.

Wedding Crashers -- Okay, aside from "Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn nail bridesmaids," is there a real plot in this movie?

Miss Congeniality 2 -- I shouldn't have enjoyed this trailer as much as I did, so I'm going to blame it on the fact that William Shatner is in it and every time they let him be silly and/or weird in anything, it's fucking classic. (See also: Boston Legal.)

The Longest Yard -- Hee. Yet another trailer that amused me far more than it should have.

Melinda and Melinda -- On one hand, it's got Will Ferrell. On the other hand, it's a Woody Allen movie, which for me ... eh.

The nose twitch ability is apparently as rare as the ear-wiggling ability.

But it's Ferrell who gives me the twitch. I hated Elf, in spite of James Caan, Ed Asner and Bob Newhart.

The Unleashed trailer makes me bounce in a disturbing way.

Whoo! I've been waiting for Dark Water. My friends all saw the orignal movie and loved it.

Completely random, because I'm too damned lazy to go digging back for an appropriate post to share this. More fodder for the Boone-incest theory on Lost, from Kristin's spoilery column. ;)

From bg_girl: Please! Lost! I have been very very good!
The show just won some award from some family council. And a friend close to the show tells me that after they see the episode with Boone, they will likely storm the office and take that award away. It's racy.

Hee. I'm so amused so many of us are actually looking forward to canon incest in our entertainment. ;)

WOOHOO! Well, either he and Shannon are shagging each other senseless, or he's as gay as the day is long. Either way, WOOHOO! *happy dance*

Unleashed has this...pet fetish thing I suspect will be veddy interesting indeed.

Hee. The Pacifier. I totally thought the trailer was for real until I was like "No. This is far too cheesy." The best line in the whole thing, which I must icon is after the dizzingly car race to school, the little girl throws herself from the minivan and screams gratefully "Grroooooooound!"

Aha, I misremembered, it is Laaaand! I'm loving kid actors who can actually pull funny off on their own terms.

The Pacifier -- It's the gag at the end that makes me giggle, I swear.

Was that a pun?

And whatever the hell it is that Kidman's doing in the trailer, that is not a nose twitch. >_

Well, supposedly she's only moving her upper lip back and forth, which to be honest is all that Elizabeth Montgomery did. But then again, when Elizabeth Montgomery did it, it looked like her nose was twitching,

Re: The Shatner.
Find "Free Enterprise", in which Eric McCormack and his geeky Star Trek friend meet their hero William Shatner, reading porn in a second hand bookstore.

Hilarity Ensues!

No. Really. You will love that movie.

Okay, aside from "Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn nail bridesmaids," is there a real plot in this movie?

Um...Owen Wilson gets to nail who, exactly? That makes a difference, doncha know? And can I turn the surrounding sound off so I only get his snark?

On one hand, it's got Will Ferrell. On the other hand, it's a Woody Allen movie, which for me ... eh.

I don't find Will Ferrell funny. At all. And I haven't watched a Woody Allen movie since it came out that he was banging his adopted daughter. ::shudder:: Skank.

And Nicole Kidman in Bewitched? Way to ruin my childhood memories, Hollywood. :P

On the one hand, they seem to at least be making an attempt towards getting John Smith's tribal adoption ceremony (his life was never in danger, it was meant to signal acceptance of the white folk as part of the larger community) right. On the other, Pocahontas is the most well-developed eleven year-old that I've ever seen.

Well, Colin's shed the Mullet that Ate Tokyo. That's always a good sign.

Uh, yeah. Unleashed reminds me why I'm not really into action movies. But Assisted Living looked really good.

Funny part is, they showed the original The Longest Yard on AMC earlier today. Is it just me, or does it seem like Vince McMahon bases his on-screen character on Eddie Albert's role as the warden?
