Dec. 26th, 2004 07:23 pmYay! I'm back from Christmas with my family, thank God! *happy dance*
So, I didn't get the LOTR extended editions (not that I really expected to), but I did get a digital camera, so woohoo! And it only took me two hours worth of fiddling with the computer to get the stupid photos downloaded. Sheesh. (They'll be at the end of the post, because yay, digital camera!) I also got a brown afghan my mother knitted for me that I'm currently cuddling up in, a very pretty sapphire ring, lots of clothes, and lots of gift certificates. Oh, and my brother bought me Shaun of the Dead on DVD, which officially makes him cool beyond all reasonable comprehension.
By the way, buses suck. I mean, that's fairly obvious, but it can't be stated enough. I was all ready on the Friday bus ride to watch one of my movies as soon as I sat down, but this kid who couldn't have been more than eight years old sat next to me. I would have gone ahead and watched a movie anyway, but what I really wanted to watch was either The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Dawn of the Dead, or Mean Girls. Somehow, I didn't think it'd go over well with his mother if I introduced him to crossdressing, mindless gore, and the annoyingly vapid behavior of teenage girls. I mean, everybody knows that's what the Internet is for.
Aaaaaaand then I went home and unwrapped presents and ate Christmas dinner and got to feel lonely and maternal and then I came home. The end.
This is my brother. That video game comes attached to his hand.

This is me. Man, I need a haircut. :)

This is my LOTR tattoo.

Remember Otis the little fuzzball? Well, this is what he looks like now that he's filled out.

I think this is Spencer. *squints* I think. He and Simon look really, really alike in photos.

From left to right -- Otis the fuzzball, Owen (the one who acts like the seagulls in Finding Nemo, and Spencer, Mr. Everybody Loves Me.
So, did I miss anything good while I was gone? :)
EDIT: Okay, here's the main reason The Bachelorette commercials annoy me. Jenn "will do whatever it takes to find the man [she's] supposed to spend the rest of [her] life with." That's just lovely, Jenn. By the way, how's that guy you hooked up with at the end of The Bachelor? Oh, you broke up with him? Huh. How about that?
