Jan. 4th, 2005 07:32 pmURGH. Tomorrow morning, I so have to make sure I work on The Monsters of Minooka. I have been devoting way too much time to fanfic lately. Not that I don't want to write fanfic, because if I won the lottery tomorrow, I could perfectly contented to curl up in a chair and write fanfic until the end of time. But it's just that God knows I've got two books to finish and I want to get them done and out of the way already so that I can edit the damn things. The writing part is easy, it's the red-pen-all-over-the-bloody-place stage that gets on my nerves.
So no Sawyer futurefic or Charlie/Claire porn just yet. No matter how many times the plotbunnies dance on my head. Grrr. *takes to grabbing unsuspecting plotbunnies and flinging them at random LJ friends*
Ooo, ooo! You know what might help me with story writing tomorrow? If I creatively feed some of the TAR cast this season to big, scaly things with blood-stained fangs. Oh, yeah, that could work.
EDIT: You know, I think I've figured out why I read so many Lost spoilers -- because they kill about a third of my plotbunnies. Of course, they spawn about four times as many plotbunnies in the end, so really, the moral of the story is, Lost is plotbunny Spanish fly.
