Dear God,

I'm taping TAR tonight. If it's not too much trouble, I'd appreciate it if you'd dip Jonathan and Victoria in chocolate and feeds them to dragons tonight after they're eliminated. Yes, I know they might not be eliminated, and yes, I know they're still alive, and yes, I know there's no such things as dragons. But I also know that in your infinite wisdom, you enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners and smiting evil, and what better way to combine smiting, the beach, and fire than feeding Asshat and Other Asshat to dragons in Corsica?

And if I can't have that, I'd like a pony. Please have it delivered to my new home, approximately a mile and a half above Jonathan's head. Thank you.

EDIT: You know, it's January 11th, and I have yet to see real snow this winter. Why, at this rate, it won't snow at all this winter in DC!

*peers out window, doesn't see a single snowflake* Damn it, that usually works.

I just talked to my best friend (who lives in Charles County) and she mentioned y'all are having a strangely mild winter this year. That's how it happens: I move to Maryland from Indiana, record-breaking snow occurs and a F5 tornado destroys the town I live in. I move from Maryland back to Indiana, you end up having Fall/Spring all Winter long, and I get record lows. Bugger.

I live in Minneapolis and by this time of year we've usually had a few three-inch snowfalls. This year? We have yet to hit three inches TOTAL.


I'm on crutches, though, so I'm actually pretty happy about it.
