You know why I was having trouble with my checking account this morning? Because DHL never deposited my paycheck into my account last week.

I'm pretty sure this level of anger is the leading cause of death among payroll employees. *seethes*

Why didn't they pay you?

I feel your pain... last year my employer royally fucked up my paycheck in January... they gave me a bonus that was supposed to be for someone else. So then they just deducted that amount from my next check, but because the bonus threw me into another tax bracket, I was short about $180. I fought tooth and nail and ended up still losing about $30 in the deal.

I should get the check on Tuesday, just in time to get paid again on Wednesday. *eye roll* So I'm going to be broke until Tuesday and then I'll just be rolling in it. So I've got that to look forward to. :)

ARGH!! I do payroll at my hotel. But I have to forward it to the Corporate office before it goes to the payroll company.

Either way, back in September, amidst all the damn hurricanes here in Florida...the jackass lady at corporate turned my payroll in LATE to the payroll company. She didn't read my email until 2.5 hours after I sent it!

I usually get the checks the thursday before payday...and they don't show up. But guess what happens that Thursday??? Our fucking hotel gets evacuated because of a hurricane.

My poor employees didn't get their checks til the following TUESDAY, AFTER having to shell out money for plywood and other supplies.

I would kill, kill, kill! Assclowns! And they couldn't get a check cut for you this weekend?

Of course, I'm hardly one to ask. I'm still going around and around over $2500 of my catastophe pay from last year with my company.

Let me put it this way. By the time we got them to agree to send me a check at all, three hours of work had already gone by for me. (Two of which were spent simply trying to get someone on the phone, because apparently payroll takes a two-hour lunch. *eye roll*) By the time they said they'd send me one, I was so frustrated about the whole thing that I said it was okay to send it on Tuesday. Heck, I can at least hold out until then, money-wise.
