Mar. 18th, 2005 11:15 amSo today I bought the first season of Arrested Development, but when I get home today, I'm handing it over to
qnotku and I don't get it back until I can present a first draft of Monsters of Minooka. (Although no, not for trade, just as proof, because after I have a first draft, I'm going to have to go at it with a machete and a box of red pens. And yes, before anybody else says it, my editing style can best be described as "You've got red on you." 'Cause, seriously ... hack, hack, hack.) There. If that doesn't tempt me, nothing will.
I also picked up a few T-shirts off the clearance rack at Sears, which ... really, I don't need expensive high fashion or anything, and as long as I'm dressed and not getting the maximum of mocking laughter, I've achieved my mission. Of course, there's my prediliction for T-shirts adorned with the kind of mottos that a lollipop-twirling eleven-year-old would pick out to take into consideration. Of the three T-shirts I picked out, one has the "Cute, but psycho. Things even out." Happy Bunny on it, one has "Dear Santa, Let me explain ..." on it (What? It was five bucks), and one has "Perfect" on the top with a list of things like "New pony + me = Perfect" after it. I may not be able to wear that one at work. Or in public. Or outside of the apartment. But damn it, I like it. So there. ;P *watches as inner eleven-year-old takes entire control over my wardrobe*
Also, I hope the person who moved the bus stops at Landmark over by the loading dock gets bitchslapped. Because putting the bus stops in a place that's blocked by delivery trucks every other day was an inspired choice. *eye roll*
