Just did a little more work on my 10.5 summary. Why did I pick a three-and-a-half-hour movie again? I'm maybe a half hour into this thing, and I've been working on it since yesterday. Man, I'm slow. Or, you know, wordier than I have to be.

Urgh. I'm going to have to go get my clothes out of the laundry room. I have to go to work early because I printed out the entirety of The Monsters of Moosic all double-spaced and everything as an editing copy, and it's going to take me forever to make that sucker all nice and neat in the pretty folders I had to have the Grouch order me through work. Le sigh.

Oh, and here's another article about pharmacists being judgmental jerks again. You know, I once thought about studying to be a doctor when I was a kid, but I decided against it for the sole reason being that I knew I couldn't handle it if I ever killed someone. If they believe so strongly that that's what birth control does, then I just can't wrap my brain about what they're still doing being pharmacists. Sheesh.

ARGH

I had to start taking birth control pills when I was thirteen, due to ovarian cysts and severe endrometrosis. It's not a pharmacists damn business why a woman is taking any medication, but as a pharmacist, they should know that preventing pregnancy is not the sole use for bc. YARGH.

In other articles like these, I've seen up to sixteen uses cited for birth control pills. Which pharmacists, even if they can't name them, should know. SHOULD KNOW. Arrrrgh!

Please be wordy. Please? I'll feel much better about the fact that, well, I'm running a bit amuck with mine....

Oh, yes. Pretty much every other sentence I'm writing is snark. But then again, with 10.5, that's expected. ;)

*snickers* I'm doing more summary than snark - but it's devolved into almost a play by play and I'm feeling guilty about that.

Because clearly me being on the pill for three years of abstinence was so I could kill babies, and not so I could actually be a functional human being most of the time, instead of taking four days out of every thirty off to whimper in a ball despite prescription-strength muscle relaxants, right? Or because clearly the reason a doctor chose to prescribe me something is any bit of anyone else's damn business. Or because I take the Pill so that there won't BE any babies tk kill.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that religious fundamentalists are proof for the non-existence of their god.

Y'know, if you're a pacifist, you probably shouldn't be an infantryman, because chances are that at some point, you're going to have to shoot somebody. If you're super-hyper-wierdly-(probably-hypocritically)-conservative and birth control presents a moral dilemma for you, you probably shouldn't be a pharmacist, because chances are that at some point somebody's going to want you to fill that prescription.

And, as mentioned above, there are many reasons why even a pure pristine virgin would want to take bc. I, for one, like the part where I'm not curled up on the floor, wanting to die once a month. And that's not even much of an exaggeration.

It's like somebody pointed out in another post. They're not just suddenly deciding they don't want to give them out anymore. They're sort of infiltrating, going for pharmacy classes specifically to stop people from getting them. It's sick and twisted and I can't even begin to describe the wrongness. *gags*
