apocalypsos: (amazing race)

My one-line, nonspoiler summary of tonight's Amazing Race:

I love Brian and Greg and want to hang out with them. Or be adopted by their parents. Or marry one of them and bear their children. Preferably Brian, but I'll take Greg.

Hmm. That's more than one line.

Eh, whatever. :)

EDIT: Twenty-four writers and counting. :) That makes me happy, because with the deadline basically being the entire month of April, that theoretically gives it a nice spread of one summary every day or so. (Of course, that probably won't happen like that, but still. :)) Oh, and any writer who didn't get a chance to say which movie they'll be summarizing in April, there's the link. :)

CBS is showing a movie called Locusts! in April, starring Lucy Lawless. I'm trying to decide whether or not that even counts as disaster so that I can mock, because with a setup like that, it's bound to be worth snarking about. :) And the 10.5 summary's at 6,600 words, and I'm still not at the halfway mark. I was hoping to get it finished by April 1st, but that's looking less and less likely as the week goes on. (Especially considering I have to go see Sin City on Saturday. It's a moral imperative.) Hopefully, I'll pound it out by Sunday.

[livejournal.com profile] drewbeartx is going to make me an icon of the hug on the Bathmat that says, "Yay! Mom's enchiladas for everyone!" This makes me happy.

That was maybe the best ending for a night of TAR ever, full stop. :)

[profile] go_dorito and I just started watching it (largely in part due to people like you who wouldn't stop raving about it), and we get so excited when we realize Tuesday is coming. GLEE.

Yay! Converts! :)

Man, I love this show. The host and the places I've never been to and the neat Roadblocks and Detours they get to do ... *swoon* This and Lost are the two shows I can't live without right now.

I wanna feed the lions!

I'm mad I missed out on Lost; I'm going to have to catch up on DVD or downloads or something.

ABC is repeating LOST and Desparate Housewives over the summer hiatus. From beginning to end.

I and my TIVO are happy and glee.

Locusts should qualify, I would think. There always seems to be a pesky plague of them messing up peoples lives in Biblical times.

quick Plan 9 question!

are you still taking category requests from folks who want to do reviews? 'Cause [livejournal.com profile] patsyrant said he was gonna do it but he was having computer problems until the other day. He's not too late is he? Hope not. You shall adore him. I know of no one who loves disaster movies as much as the two of you. I've already told him he can't do THOSE for Plan 9 :-)

Anyhow, he''ll probably post his request over there this evening at some point while the rest of the world is watching the new Lost. Poor thing. Like the rest of the UK, he's Lost-less

Sure, I'm always taking new writers. The more, the merrier. :) And yay for disaster movie buffs! *giggles*

Where are you going to see Sin City - my friend and I were trying to figure out where-all it's playing (we don't want to go to Georgetown).

I'm going to try to get into the 1:20 pm showing on Saturday at the AMC Hoffman. And I'm getting there bright and early to make sure I get tickets for it and get a good seat. :)
