My ears are still ringing. Gyah. Also, I have no voice. Okay, I have half a voice in that raspy, might-be-laryngitis way and not in that cool you-could-totally-do-movie-trailers sort of way. Hee. The concert broke me. But that's okay, see, because it was Muse and it was an amazing performance. They opened with "Apocalypse Please", and I think that was when I broke my voice screaming out the words. *happy flail*

Oh, yeah, we got there really early and got there right up front at the barricade. We were thiiiiiiiiiis close to the stage, which is officially the best positioning I've ever had for a concert. So because we got there so early, [livejournal.com profile] lil1pinay and I started slashing the cuter security staff. See, that's always fun. *snerk*

Then the concert started, and I had [livejournal.com profile] melloniel on one side and [livejournal.com profile] lil1pinay on the other, and we were really getting into the music (and I'll admit I'd never hear Razorlight's music before, but they were pretty good, too), and that when the trampy asstards showed up. Apparently, they squeezed forward from the center of the floor, then they squeezed between me and [livejournal.com profile] melloniel one at at time, until there were three of them between us at the barrier. I would have just ignored them, but one kept flipping her hair in my face, the next one to squeeze in kept elbowing me in my left breast, and the next one waited until a slow emotional song was playing before screaming, "SEXY!!" in my ear. So I can be forgiven my evil little chuckle when the one next to me at the end pretty much got sucked away and thrown into the mosh pit. Heh.

All in all, best concert I can remember going to, and I only refrain from saying "best concert I've ever been to" because my parents took me to see Queen in concert when I was a year old and I'm sure if I could remember seeing Freddie Mercury perform, he'd trump every concert ever. So now I'm sitting here with a double Big Gulp, my Nats cap and the T-shirt I bought last night working on the last of the 10.5 recap and waiting for the Nats game. Obviously, I'm not only a baseball fan again, but I'm a baseball fan with a decent team to root for. :)

Also, I forgot to mention that I watched Saved! yesterday. Great movie. Macauley Culkin was so cute and charming.

Yes, but the thing is, I'm not afraid of dying my hair blond (or red or black or bright pink) like you two are. ;P

Also ... damn. I'd go today to see about getting tickets for a game, but I'll probably have to wait two weeks, since I can't go on a weekday and next weekend is when my parents are coming.

The Reds need to stop being dorks and win a lot more games so I'll be happy. :/

*wants to go to some ballgames* Well, that's one thing to look forward too in the summer.

Oh, as a side note: We are having a picnic at 4/5 pm.

Fell free to stop by. It's on the AT8, and you can walk from an AT7 stop.

Give me a line if you need directions.

Have you seen the movie yet? 'Cause, seriously, it totally makes up for the Home Alone movies with him. And also, Mandy Moore isn't annoying. I mean, she is, because her character is supposed to be, but she does a really good acting job for once. Oh, and Eva Amurri? Really freaking gorgeous.

I can't believe I woke up with my ears STILL ringing. My voice was scratchy, too, but in a sexy kind of way.

Damn those trampy asstard bitches! *fist of rage!*

I hope the security guys had a fun afterparty, as hard as they were working. Some whipped cream, duct tape, handcuffs...

You want some Razorlight songs? I have a couple here somewhere.

And I love Macauley Culkin in that movie. I don't care what anyone says, I still think he's adorable.

My left ear's not so bad, but my right ear keeps making this high-pitched whine that's driving me bonkers. It kept me up an extra hour last night just because I couldn't sleep from the noise.

Oh, yes. You just know the security guys were all doing it in their love nest under the stage. ;)

Ooo! I'd love some Razorlight songs. Those guys were really good.

I loved Saved when I saw it.

I actually ended up seeing it with a bunch of girls from the Christ-lovin' club on campus, and they all hated it...probably because they were eerily like the Mandy Moore character.

And then this fight broke out between us because I identified with Eva Amurri and Jena Malone, and thought Mandy Moore was a bitch. They got really mad at me for that, and not just for my use of OMG(osh) swearing. It ended with three girls spending the night at my house because they refused to leave until I studied my Bible and prayed with them.

That's when I woulda pulled Asstard No. 1's hair out, punched Asstard No. 2 and removed Asstard No. 3's lungs out via her nose. But then again, I grew up on heavy metal concerts, so there ya go....I don't put up with bullshit like that when I was there first, damnit.... :)
