May. 11th, 2005 07:13 pmWhile I'm on a roll with old memes that I love ...
1) Go to http://www.yousendit.com and put in pigwidgeon_the_unholy@yahoo.com.
2) Send me a song or two that you think I must hear.
3) My musical tastes: Anything catchy, bouncy, pretty, or good for dancing to, and any kind of Nordic, Punjabi, African, or Indian music. (You know, stuff with drum beats and chanting singing. ;))
And if you guys want later on, I'll make a music post, since I haven't in a while. :)

Date: 2005-05-11 11:35 pm (UTC)"Fill Her Up" by Gene -- a song I discovered while listening to The Succubus Club (though I'm not sure why they were playing it, since AFAIK it was never on BtVS or AtS) and liked well enough I ordered the CD from the UK.
"Rasputin" by Boney M -- this song gets played at SF&F convention dances all over the Pacific Northwest and is a blast to dance to. It's got a great beat, a catchy tune, and fun and funky lyrics.
Hmmm... Speaking of catchy tunes, I'm rather tempted to send along a copy of "Run Run Away" by either Slade or the cover that was done by Great Big Sea.

Date: 2005-05-11 11:44 pm (UTC)Dead Can Dance - Arabian Gothic (actually a live version of Lisa Gerrard's solo song Swans, I think) and Dead Can Dance - Saltarello (practically impossible to listen to and NOT dance, if just in your seat.)
