According to E! Online's Kristen, not only is Arrested Development staying on, it's staying on for another two full seasons! Of course, nothing is official yet, but still, here's hoping. *crosses fingers while restraining a happy flail*

Also, there's a great bit later on in her article about the TAR finale and what's happened to everyone since, and there was this bit about Ray and Deanna's wedding: Senior citizens and fan favorites Gretchen and Meredith said they sent Ray a very lovely chess set as a wedding gift, since Ray made it very clear on the show that he wasn't "going to let a 70-year-old man beat me at anything, including chess." Bwahahahaaha. I think I love those two. ;)

In movie trailer news, Must Love Dogs actually looks kind of cute, and John Cusack looks like he'll be cute in it.

I know there are silent films junkies on my friends list, so here's an article about Buster Keaton.

Okalahoma Baby Born at Just 10 Ounces. The pictures are just ... damn, she's so tiny.

Coach Ferrell vs. J.Lo-J.Fo team at box office -- Meanwhile, I'm probably going to see the Jet Li movie. What? Any movie that plays Muse in the trailer has me at "Hello."

Kenyan police arrest mother of infant rescued by dog in forest -- It's good, but at the same time, knowing the way things are in Kenya, I do feel sympathy for her if it is her baby.

Tiger cubs breastfed by Myanmar woman die of dehydration -- Insert your own joke here.

Michigan court says talking penis on TV is indecent -- I don't know, I think it's kind of funny and I haven't even seen it.

An undercover Florida policeman says he went to hospital for sinus surgery that required a shot of painkiller, but instead the syringe was filled with make-up glitter. So now when he sneezes, it looks like a disco. :)

New international Batman Begins trailer! It's the one all the way on the right.

11 ounces? ::shudders:: That's about the size my sproglet would have been if she'd been born the first time I went into premature labor. Damn. Makes her birth weight of 4 lbs 10 ozs seem positively huge, doesn't it?

::goes off to hug sproglet who's about 12 pounds now::

Thanks. :)

two items from the National Film Board of Canada made in 1965, a year before he died.

These are actually fantastic. Currently out of print and with a waiting list at Amazon, too. Damnation.

And when asked about the big wedding CBS will televise in two weeks, Patrick of mother-son team Patrick and Susan, jabbed, "I'm sure I have something really gross and unimportant to do that night. Like washing my cat." Meee-ow.

BWAH! You know, if he didn't have that whole Romber obsession, I would've loved him on the show. He seems like the kind of guy that I could meet with over cocktails and snark on sorry people with :P

Interesting stuff about the DH finale too... though interestingly enough, I heard that Jamie Denton was confirmed to be back on (he better be, he's most of my eye candy on there! :P). My guess as to who kicks the bucket will probably be either Zach, Paul, or (damn I hope not) Felicia :\

Eeep! I don't want Felicia (NOOOO!) or Zach to die. (I want my Mike-is-a-daddy theory to come true, and to have Zach have to move in with Mike, and for the angst to reeeeeeeally begin.)

Paul can die, though. Paul can die a lot. And Carlos can feel free to get shivved in prison, although I'd love to see John live in that situation simply to bug Gabby with, "Well, now can I be the baby's father?"

I'm thinking the Mike-as-daddy theory totally is true. And yeah, if Felicia kicks it I'll be quite upset, but unfortunately I can see it as totally feasible. But then again, there's also the whole Carlos-in-prison thing, and the Rex-with-bad-pills thing too. So it's all up in the air.

Must Love Dogs is like my dream. John Cusack and Dermot Mulroney battling for my love and affection? Bring it on! Celebrities in my shower was invented for John Cusack!

Hmmmm.

Cool news for Arrested Development fans if it pans out, BUT...

I highly doubt FOX is taking the risk on commiting to two full seasons. This show has been troubled since the start, and I'm wary of that changing anytime soon. Not something you want a long term investment in.

Even so, they COULD always changed their mind.

That's it... I'm adopting them.

The poor cubs...

That poor baby. Ten ounces? That's not good. *shivers*

I'm glad that I was nine pounds and nine and a half ounces. ... Now that I've annouced to the world how much I weighed when I popped out of my momma, I'm going to hide, now.

please let that be true about Arrested Development. I love that show. It makes Fox look like a decent channel too...and have I mentioned the love?

Aw, the poor baby! I hope she's all right, although that's...wow. *sends good thoughts*

I was three months premature, as well, so I feel a sort of kinship with the little thing. My mother had a difficult pregnancy, but thank goodness, I wasn't nearly that tiny. I was 2 pounds 12 ounces, which is pretty darn small, but I've made up for it, I think. ;D

Yes, yes, you get more Arrested Development. And what do I get from the one and only show I made time to watch all year? CANCELLATION!

Damn you, HBO! I want my Carnivale!!

I felt dorky for wanting to watch the Jet Li movie over whatever else was in theaters.

Now...not so much. :D
