Okay. So, I just finished watching the last episode of Veronica Mars.

I'm pretty sure I can safely say it's now my favorite TV show on the air with only slight distinct advantages over Desperate Housewives, The Amazing Race, and Arrested Development, in different ways. (Right now, Lost is pissing me off, so, you know. *shrugs*)

But yeah, definitely my favorite. Dude, that was AMAZING.

Three things --

1.) Wallace is at the door. You cannot convince me otherwise. (Except for the now hopeless Logan/Veronica shipper in me that needs it to be Logan.) But clearly it's Wallace, because next year, Daddy Mars and Alicia will get married and they'll be one big cuddly BFF family. I have decreed it so.
2.) Do you know why I adore Logan and Veronica together? I mean, with some sort of an unholy passion? Because that's exactly what it is. It's hot and beautiful and painful and so incredibly fucked-up. But I dig that about them, damn it. Neither of them is right for each other. They're not going to graduate and get married and have a bunch of very fucked-up small children. If anything, they're going to have a very steamy, short-lived, combustible relationship, and that's only if Logan doesn't go nuclear and Veronica doesn't pull any of her "eye for an eye" secretive shit with him anymore. And I don't care if it's short-lived, damn it, because when she's letting her guard down and he's not being a confrontational bastard, it's so fucking HOT. Especially when they have their tongues in each other's mouths, and perhaps other body parts in other body parts, if the censors are feeling particularly frisky. ;)
2a.) That's not to say I don't think Logan making out with Lilly/Weevil/Duncan/the cigar isn't hot. I stand by my declaration that Logan is the little black dress of Veronica Mars 'shipping.
3.) I burst into tears when Daddy Mars showed Veronica the paternity test, because I'm a fucking waterspout. :)

So, yes, for those of you who are wondering if Veronica Mars is worth it, YES, GODDAMN IT.

Also, you know what I need more than life itself? An icon of Logan kicking up his heel before leaving the bathroom after he and Veronica were making out. 'Cause, you know, that was just plain adorable. *eg*

Well, since I don't have UPN, I'll mostly just watch TAR and pine for Veronica. *unhappy sigh* I should seriously see about getting somebody to copy the episodes to disc and send 'em to me before then. I don't mind subsisting on TWoP recaps, but considering what absolute crack this show is, I might not last for long.

Anyways, the main problem is that VM torrents always seem to be posted late so I stuck with watching TAR live and watching VM the next day. Partly because more people in my office watch TAR and I don't want to risk getting spoiled. But I should do it the other way around if VM is going to be posted so late and TAR so early.

I just finished watching the first episode. So cool! Wallace is a big puppy, and Logan is a rotten boy, but I think that I see signs of this boywhoreness, and I'll keep watching to find out. :-)

Veronica can also be shipped with anyone. She has chemistry with Backup for crying out loud (although, obviously not in a dirty way. Kristen is just awesome).

Logan/cigar = OTP.

There are many future fics out there where Logan and Veronica carry on this secret affair, despite boyfriends and wives, etc... that's how I see it, like you said, not marriage and 2.5 kids.

And yes, they are the hottest thing ever. And completely fucked up.

Oh, yes, I wouldn't mind seeing Veronica hooked up with anyone on the show. (Well, except Wallace, because their friendship is so incredibly perfect.) But, yeah. Duncan, Leo, Weevil, Logan ... any of them works for me.

But especially Logan, because he's a jackass, but my GOD, is he a cuddly jackass. :)
