According to AICN, there's a rumor that Nick Stahl has been cast as Angel in X3.

Okay, look. I like Nick Stahl. Aside from the fact that I think he's hot, he's a really good actor. But as Warren?

I'm starting to think they're just messing with our heads at this point.
Maybe the theory is that we'll be so distracted by the rumours that are out now, that the choices they do make wont look so bad in comparison.

Hee! At least there have been rumors that Lost's Shannon is no longer in the Kitty Pryde role. Last I heard Summer Glau (Firefly/Serenity) auditioned. *shrug*

Okay, now that that's out of my system.. really? They might let her play someone who isn't completely insane? That would be cool. Bizarre, but cool. :D

I'm veryveryvery worried about our movie, too. Gahhhh. X1 and X2 were so GOOD, and they kind of.. you know.. DREW A MAP for X3 in it. JUST FOLLOW THE DAMN MAP, PEOPLE. Phoenix! Phoenix good!

Is it good or bad that at this point, I almost want them to end the X-Men series with 2 and go make a Spider-Man/Human Torch buddy movie?

Yeah, I find it interesting that Summer Glau might be allowed a certain measure of sanity. Honestly, I think she fits the character better than Lost!Shannon (though I love her too, but for entirely different reasons).

Everything I've heard about X3 just makes me cringe...and makes my X-Men-loving heart wither even more than the current mainstream titles...and THAT's a feat, mind you.

Throw Iceman into that Spider-Man/Human Torch movie and I'd be hooked-hooked-hooked. *le sigh*

If they had to pick someone from Lost to do Kitty, I'd actually go for Evangeline Lilly - Kate may irritate me, but only when she's with Jack (the scenes with her and Sun keep making me like her, damnit), and she looks the part of a nice girl from Chicago who is a big honkin' nerd who is also a ninja shhhh. (...now I'm imagining her and Jackman having Wolvie-training-Kitty scenes and I think my ovaries just combusted. Dammit, I have to stop doing that.)

A Spidey/Iceman/Torch flick would be awesome. Obviously we need to get agents. We can prevent things like Elektra from ever happening again. ;_;
