*incoherent rambling and pointing in the direction of the bar*
(Subtitle: Drinks are at the bar. Bitten-open cans of snacks are on the tables. Please try not to throw up on my shoes. :))
*babbles happily and wanders off*
(OOC: *snerk* Well, I had to play her eventually, right? ;))

Date: 2005-07-17 07:30 pm (UTC)Good that you acknowledge your situation.
I see a large bottle of something vaguely green up there. Would you like me to fetch it down for you?
(OOC: HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA. You do the best screaming-Ed at these parties.)

*the shelf twists and warps down, sliding the bottles safely to a lower level*
(OOC: *laughs* I've had a lot of practice.)

*takes bottle, pours out two glasses, drops a bezoar into one*
Doesn't appear to be poisonous, at least.

Date: 2005-07-17 08:20 pm (UTC)Still, I've never heard that term before. Gryffindor, what do they do? I'm an alchemist, you see.
*frowns at the bezoar* What is that?

Date: 2005-07-17 08:35 pm (UTC)(OOC: Draco, bitter?)
*digs bezoar out of glass, hands it drippingly over* Small stones, typically found in the bellies of various beasts, used to identify poisons and neutralize them. I'm surprised you don't recognize it, being an alchemist. Very similar pursuit to the subtle science of Potions, I would have thought.

Date: 2005-07-17 08:42 pm (UTC)I don't quite know what your "Potions" is like, but unless it involves copious amounts of research as well as the destruction and construction of core matter, they're probably not that much alike. Transmutation is quick and dirty and requires copious knowledge and willpower.
Mind if I take this? *holds up the bezoar*

*waves hand laguidly* Go ahead, I have dozens.
