Jul. 24th, 2005 03:40 pmSo I just got back from seeing March of the Penguins, and in an effort to bring forth a mature, articulate response, I find myself describing my reaction to the movie with a famous quote from the esteemed orator and statesman Abraham Lincoln, which says:
"OMGWTF A BIG FUCKING PILE OF FLUFFY GRAY BABY PENGUINS!!1!1!"
*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
*flails*
*keels over dead from cute*
That, by the way, is a direct quote. Go on, whip out Bartlett's. I'll wait.
Also, a note to the teenager sitting behind me ... please to not be reading aloud the "Silence is Golden" title card before the movie. It gives the rest of the audience free rein to beat you with sticks after the movie.
... on second thought, go ahead. Read away, loudmouth. Also, keep kicking the back of my seat, because there's some fine print on the back of my ticket that seems to be describing a game of Civil War Field Hospital, but with less liquor.
In other news, I bought two cheap paperbacks at the pharmacy that appear to be about superheroes in love. YAAAY! Michael Caine and Gene Hackman in the same movie! This is my thesis! *end PCU moment*
Well, I'm off totry like hell and fail miserably at being able to write more on Dead Men In Dark Suits. *sigh*
