Also, Jubilee may discover the town has a mall. In which case, she may never be seen again. ;)
You know what I can't wait to see? A parent/teacher conference. OMG SOMEBODY CALL ONE. *snerk* (I'm still trying to think who'd be the most amusing student to suffer through one. I spent a good hour or so thinking about that instead of work today. That was nice. :))
EDIT: My birthday is three weeks from today. So I'll be a twenty-eight-year-old unemployed single virgin. God, I hope I don't get hit by a truck between now and then. I'd hate for that to go in my obituary.
OTHER EDIT: One more tiny thing before I go to bed -- House is now the school nurse at

We both understand the importance of not talking when someone's fandom is on, and those quiet nights at home on the couch gazing into each other's eyes and OMG SOMEONE REPLIED TO MY POST IN

Date: 2005-09-11 08:22 am (UTC)I know you mentioned this RP as an idea not unlike campfuckudie. What I'm curious is-- what's the premise? Is there any established weirdness besides a tentacle monster in the basement? CFUD's basic premise that the characters are meant to play off of is that they're stuck in a camp and that zombies and other terrible monsters were created in science experiments by the derranged camp director. Anything weird gets blamed on that/her, directly or indirectly. Supposedly they're all brought there to solve a murder or something, though no one really seems to focus on that.
So... all the people enrolling at fandomhigh...why? Why is there a tentacle monster in the basement? What other weird things are there, and why? I ask because when I join, I want some basis for ideas for weird things to be happening... some sense of direction as far as what can be introduced and what can't. It will only be able to run on the novelty of characters meeting & interacting in classes for a while... I want to know if there's any structure to the RP that we can learn about and then play with to keep it going. For lack of a better way to put it, what's the premise/set-up for fandomhigh canon?
I found the earliest posts, but I didn't see any that had a sort of "mission statement" for the RP, beyond the idea that a bunch of people are now in high school together. How serious are the threats to students? What's the conflict of the story?
Sorry to hit you with these questions. I'm looking forward to playing, and I'm gonna want toys to get me started. Mental toys. Cues or prompts to tell me what the point of it all is. I'm not trying to compare this to CFUD because I think that's the best RP or anything (I have some problems with it just as much as stuff I like about it), but because one of the strongest things about CFUD was its basic premise of "there's always something new and weird trying to kill you, the director is your enemy and crazy to boot, now try not to die." It gives you an idea of where to go, what you can play with.
I'm really curious about what the canon/purpose/outline/premise is for fandomhigh.
