You know how I know my family is awesome? Because I called home to ask my brother something and halfway through the phone call, I hear my mother shriek in the background, "Bush is going to interrupt CSI for a stupid press conference?!" This was followed by my mom calling him every name in the book, my brother saying "I'm not going to call him the president anymore, I'm going to call him The Dick," and my mom yelling "Shut up!" at my father who was laughing hysterically at my mom's precious CSI episode being interrupted. Heh. They're nuts.

In other news, I got the water and electric bill for the apartment set up, so that's off the checklist. Oh, and I now know my address and phone number. (So, you know, if anybody wants to send me mail or a note or something for my birthday ... yeah. :))

And now I'm watching CSI. fandomhigh has ruined me for it, because all I can think now is, "Hey, that's my bio teacher!" every time Sara is onscreen. HEE. (And I'm still not allowed to enroll Chris Knight from Real Genius ay fandomhigh. If nothing else, I don't own that movie and haven't seen it in far too long. but I want to so very very badly OMGWTF.)

Funnily that was exactly what I was going to say. And CSI is *so* more important (or, well, not more important, perhaps, but at least more urgent) than listening to My Pet Goat.

It's not like he's coming on the air at 2001/09/11 12:00 to announce that there has been a major terrorist strike (was it?), I mean, generally these press conferences can be actually scheduled. Oh, and appear on One Freaking Channel with at most a textbar on the others where to find it if you're interested.
