apocalypsosI'm home! YAAAAY! *happy dance*
And I have seen the apartment. Oh, you guys ... it's awesome. I mean, okay, it's kind of a dump, but for four hundred a month, it's a HUUUUUGE, well-situated dump. And not only that, but the carpetting, the wallpaper, everything is right out of the 1960s. Yes, welcome to my apartment, where the Beatles are always number one on the charts, the beehive is always in style, and John F. Kennedy is always getting shot.
Also, I have met my car, tentatively christened Joe Bag-O'-Lugnuts. He's ... well, he's a five-hundred-dollar car. But he's an awfully sweet five-hundred-dollar car, so I'll keep him. :)
Now, I just have to unpack, buy groceries, insure and register the car, renew my driver's license, pay all of my bills, and get a job. SEND HELP.
(P.S. The ride home alone was worth it simply to see my father eat a Necco wafer and utter the immortal words, "This tastes like a dentist's office.")
