Oh, for Christ's sake. Those "Amazing Achievement" clips would be cool if they were actually things that really were amazing. Adam doing that one Fast Forward was not nearly as amazing an achievement as the fact that none of the other teams strangled Jonathan in his sleep at any of the Pit Stops.

"The Paolo family, who were the first to arrive ..." *gags*

"We've been raised not to trust other people, but to trust your family and to trust God." Aaaaaaaand that pretty much sums up why the Weavers bug me.

HEE! I love Billy and Carissa. Can't be said enough. :)

I don't want to agree with DJ Paolo about anything, but I'm really digging the fact that everybody hates the Weavers. (Okay, other than the Godlewskis.)

"I'm coming."
"So's Christmas." DJ, shut it. You sound like my grandma.

They're calling the Gaghans the Brady Bunch? Heh.

You morons, YOU get out of the car. Your father is driving, for crying out loud.

I agree with the TWoP poll. Free Rolly!

For fuck's sake ... more bunching? *eye roll*

Oh, the Weavers are so getting friggin' Yielded. You can just see it coming, can't you?

The Gaghans and Paolos are like this complete contrast, where Bill and Tammy are always so sncouraging and turned out weel-behaved kids and the Paolos are ... well, the Paolos.

I suppose laughing and pointing at this point would be impolite. Fun, but impolite.

Oh, my God, the Paolos did something I like!

Okay, this is a fucking HARD Roadblock.

"They're in front of a garbage truck!" Oh, fuck you, you morons. I don't like the Paolos, but I'm not going to knock Papa Paolo over that, and I'm sure as hell not going to side with people who claim to be so high and mighty and yet toss around the word "retard" like crazy.

The Gaghans are in last place, and yet they still didn't have fits. LOVE THEM.

Oh, Godlewskis, stop shrieking.

Jesus, Paolos, team up. Split into pairs and lift 'em.

I really wish the Bransens would stop calling their father "Wally." It's creepy.

"Jay-vier"? You live in Florida, Weavers, you can't tell me you don't know how to pronounce that name.

Billy shook his hand!

Ack! It's raining!

Oh, the Gaghans are going to get eliminated, aren't they? (Well, I made an icon for them. *sigh* But damn it, no fair! I made an icon for the Weavers first!)

I knew Carissa would like the bridges. :)

*snerk* "Well, I can't carry THAT."

I love the cuts on this show sometimes. "Somebody might have gotten lost" followed by everybody in their vans saying "Where the hell are we?" was a HEEE! moment.

Is it bad that I'm starting to like the Paolos? Not a lot, mind you -- hell, it's still pretty bad -- but when they're towards the head of the pack, they're not awful.

Oh, God, I'm covering my eyes.

OH, FUCK.

Well, congratulations, Amazing Producers. Not only have you made a little girl cry, but thanks to the fact that I don't give a shit if any of the other teams win, I'm pretty sure I'm not watching the rest of the season, and that'll be a first for me. Hell, I kept watching even when Jonathan and Kendra made me want to throttle the producers. Fuckin' family edition.

You're not the only one with icon-touch-of-death. Remember when I made you that "Questionably Lesbians" one and they got booted next leg?

Honestly. I can't tell the Bransens apart (except for Wally who drags them all down), I can only tell the Pink Ladies apart when they're screeching at one another, the Linzes behave less maturely than my nineteen-year-old brother, the Paolos are horrific when they're not winning, and the Weavers get more smugly repellent with every passing episode.

I want the Weavers to die. Like, seriously die. Like I just mentioned in a post, they've reached the Jonathon & Victoria level of hatred from me. I'd rather see Colin, Boston Rob, Mirna, Flo, Kendra and Hayden all on my screen at once than watch them.

I'm horribly shallow, so I'll root for the Linzes just for the "I'd still do them" factor, but if they get Philiminated, I'm done with this season. And for me to say that says a lot.

I already couldn't stand the Weavers, but that shot of them standing there at the Yield killed any and all good will I have for them. I do wish Rolly would break off and run away, because he seems to be the only one of them left with any common decency (maybe that's why he gets barely any screentime). But the rest of them can just fuck off and die. The Godbothering is bad enough, but combined with their liberal use of the word "retard," it makes me want to punch all of them. (Except Rolly, who I still want to believe can be rescued.)

Honestly? I don't have faith in any of them.

What bugs me the most about them is that they are NOT Christians. People like them are the reason other people (like myself, admittedly) get their hackles up when they hear someone's a Christian.

Exactly. They're not behaving like Christians. Watching them tonight made me think of this. (The All Hallows Eve entry, just in case.) The attitude of "I'm a Christian so I'm better than you" is annoyingly similar.

I am rooting for the Linzes out of sheer...I can't even call it apathy. I'm still cheesed the Aiellos got eliminated.

I have the horrible feeling it's going to be down to the Paolos and the Weavers in the finale, and if it is, I will be watching it stinking drunk.

Yes, if I had to root for anybody, I'd root for the Linzes, too. I mean, they're childish and immature for people who aren't that much younger than I am, and they behave worse than my nineteen-year-old brother, who stopped making dick and fart jokes ages ago, and might even make worse jokes than my 10-year-old cousin. But they're not any meaner to each other than most brothers and sisters, and when the going gets tough, they do help each other along. (When the one Linz brother wsa carrying Megan, I thought that was nice.)

If it got down to the Paolos and the Weavers, I would seriously write a bitchy letter to CBS. Yes, I know it would accomplish nothing, or less than nothing, but I would feel that strongly about complaining.

Fuckit. I'm watching "Commander in Chief".

Gawd, I wanted to hug Carissa and punch the Weaver girls in the mouth at the same time...

Yeah. Pissed the Gaghans are gone but not surprised. There have been bunches but that 2 hours of wandering at the reflecting pool in the second episode really exposed some sort of fatal flaw... not sure what it was. They lucked out several episodes in a row and avoided philimination but they just couldn't pull themselves out ahead.

I'm rooting for the Paolos now. I liked them in an underdog way early on even when they were bickering constantly... and now the race is obviously having a positive effect on them so I don't feel bad cheering for them.

Contrast that to the Weavers who you might have felt sympathetic towards early on but have increasingly become more repellant. A Weaver-Paolo finish might be karmically appropriate in a way if they continue down their current paths.

I also like the Linzes. Linzs. Linzeses? The brothers are fairly generic but Megan is awesome.

I don't know what it says about either team that the Paolos are getting less revolting and occasionally are a little likable (it's almost as if they got Killer Fatigue out of the way early and are shrugging it off just as everybody else is starting to suffer from it) while the Weavers are growing more repugnant with every passing episode.

I do think it means a lot about what the rest of us are missing due to editing that the other teams like the Paolos (although they don't like DJ's bitching, but the fact that they came right out and told him to knock it off speaks volumes -- how often did Jonathan get that from the others when he was ripping Victoria a new one constantly?) but loathe the Weavers. It's pretty telling considering they had to have spent a few weeks with these people at this point in the season.

Also,

I call attention to this entry of your's from several weeks ago.

You flaunted your icon power and now we're all suffering the consequences. I will hold you personally responsible if the Weavers win this.

Okay, that's just no fair.

Although I would like to point out that I have never iconed the winners. :)
