"Jesus hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, and fishermen. He would certainly have welcomed garbagemen with open arms. But the Weavers wouldn't."
Ain't that the truth. *eye roll*
C'mon, Karma Police, I make an icon here. That's your cue to lose 'em.

Most Valuable Player:
Lynn: Has to be God this week. He took the Weavers all the way to second and seems to have helped them out earlier in the race.
Alex: That won’t last, God has other things to do than help the Weavers find some guy named Ricardo Diaz.
Lynn: You’d think God could hook them up with first place.

Date: 2005-11-03 02:57 am (UTC)The Paolos are getting more tolerable with every passing week, which is just weird. They're not perfect, but I think the thing that differentiates them from the Weavers is that for all of the bitching the Paolos do when they're strained, they do seem to be relatively polite to the other teams. And when the other teams talk about not helping "the New York team", it's more because the Paolos are doing well and less because of the way they're treating everybody else, which is a contrast to the Weavers.
