Kevin Nealon and Nicholas Gonzalez have been playing by themselves for the entire last half of the show, and Dave Foley finally came out and said, "I've gotta go. My daughter's growing up without me."

*snerk* I love Celebrity Poker Showdown waaaaaay too much, considering.

EDIT: ... OH MY GOD, I LOVE ED HELMS.

I saw the other episode that Nicholas Gonzalez was on a few days ago. He is a really good poker player, I'll give him that.

But apparently Kevin Nealon is really, REALLY good. It's always neat, seeing which celebrities are actually good at this.

I love the episodes with the helpless, clueless women that take advantage of the misconception that they don't know how to play, and then they kick everyone's ass (i.e. the blonde from King of Queens that won last time).

And the one where Penny Marshal wasn't fully aware of her surroundings and needed Rosie O'Donnell to repeat everything to her.

CPS suddenly makes me want to write RPS. Because Dave/Phil is totally there :P

Oh, definitely. Did you see the one where they were curled up on the couch in the Loser's Lounge and Dave kissed Phil on the head? And then there was the playing with the Dave and Phil dolls. They're so doin' it. ;)

This was on my flist right at the bottom, before I scrolled. So all I could see was Spoiler for CPS.

...whereupon I thought, how does one spoil for the Current Periodicals and Stacks Department?

...whereupon I realized there was a probability approaching zero that you were referring to a department of the library.

Kevin Nealon is good, but he's also pig lucky. :) He's like Dule Hill, he comes on and forgets how to lose.

But yes, I am also ridiculous in my love for this show.

Dude, he doesn't have half of the luck Brad Garrett has. I was watching a rerun of when he was on, and the man was trouncing Sara Rue with these out-of-the-blue lifesavers on the river on, like, three hands in a row. (If there's one real advantage to me watching this obsessively now, it's that I'm learning how to play better. The cards part I'm good at, but the betting ... not so much.)

But yeah, Kevin Nealon and Dule Hill are scary with the luck. And my love for this show is THIS BIG. I can't watch professional poker players on other shows, but that's probably because these guys get to joke around more. :)
