I ran up to my parents's house to drop off a copy of Something Biblical for my brother to read (What? He wanted something to read, and he's seen the X-Men movies almost as many times as I have), which led to the following conversation with my mother:

Me: Hey, what happened on CSI last night? I skipped out to watch Celebrity Poker Showdown.
Mom: *sniffs* I wouldn't skip CSI for anything.
Me: Mom, you wouldn't skip CSI to watch me get married.
Mom: *guilty voice* ... well, I could use the VCR, I guess.

*snickers*

In other news, a fic rec: The Best Part of Breaking Up. Ken just hasn't been the same since he and Barbie broke up. Yes, that Ken and Barbie. Oh, my God, go read NOW. It's cracktacular! :)

But Can They Sing? is on in the background. Uh, no ... no, they can't.

so, did she tell you what happened on CSI last night? was really interesting.

I'm such an addict, I watched the 2 episodes that showed on Spike then switched over to the broadcast episode.

Yup, she told me, though she mostly focused on the Gil stuff. A lot of the reason she loves CSI is that she has a major jones for Gil Grissom. It's kind of cute watching her spazz out over him like a little fangirl, actually. :)
