Nov. 11th, 2005 11:02 pmThe Libertine -- YAAAAY! New Johnny Depp movie! Oh, I really want to see this one.
Duane Hopwood -- Watch as David Schwimmer tries to do for his career what The Good Girl did for Jennifer Aniston.
First Descent -- I'm not much for snowboarding, partly for the fact that you won't be seeing me sticking boards to my feet and sliding down mountains and partly because it's too freaking cold, but kudos to anybody's who's up for it.
Monster House -- Oh, want to see. WANT TO SEE.
Ellie Farmer -- Meh. Although the Johnny Depp reference was pretty funny.
And here's a question in the vein of "Which five fictional characters would you punch in the face?":
You are given the ability to eliminate three fictional characters from existence. Any three you want, any fandom. Any bad things they've done won't have happened, any good things they've done can have been done by someone else. Who do you eliminate?
1. Ana-Lucia, Lost -- Of course, that's working off the assumption that someone else will eliminate Kate. ;) But seriously, as much as I like her bitchy ass, I can do without her. So far, she's done not one thing to convince me that she needs to stay. Maybe she protected the Tailaways, but I can't begin to describe how much I don't give a damn about that.
2. Dan, One Tree Hill -- God, I don't even watch this show and I could do without this character. How is it humanly possible for one character to never, EVER do one redeeming thing? It isn't, and that's what drives me nuts. I'll be flipping through the channels and hit that show and catch him ALWAYS being absolutely repellent. Everything he does is selfish or cruel -- everything. Who the hell can watch that? The other characters have enough problems just fine, and then over there is this mustache-twirling evil bastard. It's ridiculous.
3. Anita Blake, Anita Blake Vampire Hunter -- Which would pretty much negate the entire book series, but really, would that be much of a loss? The first few books were good, but I've stricken them from my memory and I'm not exactly suffering from the loss.
EDIT: Bush forcefully attacks critics of the war. In Tobyhanna. Which is maybe an hour's drive from my house. Damn it, I could have gone and thrown things at his monkey head.

Date: 2005-11-12 04:36 am (UTC)The entire book series could have been about Edward. That would have been much better.

Date: 2005-11-12 10:23 am (UTC)1) Draco Malfoy - Force J.K. Rowling to get creative. Can't blame everything on the little rugrat.
2) Shannon - Yes, yes, yes, we both know. Anywho, all she's done is whine and been matched badly with Sayid. Rose should watch Vincent because she needs happy. And Sayid, without Shannon, would probably hook up with Kate and then we can see Jack brood some more. Because there's not enough of Jack brooding.
3) Welsey Crusher - There was some good points. When you have a supergenius living on your ship, not utilizing his skills is dumb. And Captain Picard is rarely dumb. But
because he has the hots for his momfor reasons unknown, Picard never kicked Wesley off after the eight jillionth time he's jeaprodized the ship.no subject

Date: 2005-11-12 12:33 pm (UTC)Only 3? *is sad*
1. Ginny Weasley - she's a waste of space, and very much a Mary-Sue.
2. Ross Gellar - he's not funny, he's just irritating.
3. Fred Burkle - she can do anything! Of course she's wonderful! OMG FRED BEST NERD EVER. Eww.
I concur
