In some vaguely sarcastic way, it's entirely wrong that I don't own this shirt.

Also, if I got this shirt for my brother for Christmas, I'd like to think I'd be the coolest big sister on the planet, but I'm not even sure he remembers using those. I know I do. I think it's still in the case with our old Atari in my parents's attic. (Then again, I can specifically remember my brother playing with the Atari out of a weird, game-playing sense of nostalgia once, so maybe he has seen it.)

Okay, off to get the damned [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story out of the way. They've set up the uploading on the website, so there's my kick in the ass to work on the damn thing already.

EDIT: Titanic May Have Sunk Faster Than Thought -- I think my favorite part isn't the bit about the new info (meh, so they shaved fiften minutes or so off the stern going down ... and?), it's Bob Ballard's reaction: "They found a fragment, big deal," he said. "Am I surprised? No. When you go down there, there's stuff all over the place. It hit an iceberg and it sank. Get over it." *snickers*

Actually, I don't know what the hell they're talking about in the article, because that makes the sinking in the 1997 movie even more accurate. In that one, it only takes a few minutes of settling after it breaks in half before the stern starts going under the water.

The sinking in that one is pretty much the most accurate one they've ever filmed. Which sucks, because if that stupid love story weren't in it, it might be good.

Titanic is my sad, sad, guilty pleasure. Like, really guilty. I feel like I should consult a priest.
