Dec. 9th, 2005 04:48 pmIn lieu of a real post, I'm starting a meme. So there. ;P
Name ten of your favorite characters and tell what kind of relationship you'd have with them if you knew them in real life.
1. Sarah Connor, Terminator -- I'd be so below her radar, it's not even funny. She'd take one look at me, assess me as future radioactive waste (probably apt), and move on.
2. Dean Winchester, Supernatural -- If Dean paid attention to me for any other reason than something evil attacking me, I'd be surprised. I mean, I know he'll flirt with anything in a bra, but my low self-esteem and I are pretty sure he'd be his usual self without the flirt.
3. Bobby Drake, X-Men -- He would so be my best friend, and I would have a crush on him, and he'd be so friggin' oblivious he'd never even notice. Even if I walked right up to him and said it. He's sweet, but he's still a dope.
4. Logan Echolls, Veronica Mars -- You know, I like to think I'm kinda like Veronica, but if we're talking about high-school me, I'd be more of that girl who lost her dog, in which case he'd probably spend most of his time making mean comments about me or ignoring me completely. He's interesting to watch, but I bet he'd be a bastard to know.
5. Bree Van De Kamp, Desperate Housewives -- Oh, in real life, I would haaaaate Bree. If she lived in my neighborhood and I had to talk to her on a regular basis, I'd try to avoid it, unless it was a choice between talking to her or Psycho Neighbor, in which case Bree will probably have muffins.
6. Sam Winchester, Supernatural -- See, I have much more faith in Sam paying attention to me. In fact, he'd be one of those guys I'd totally fall for that I'd have a really good chance of having fall for me, too. He's all my type, which includes the tall (even though I keep saying I don't like tall guys because I'd rather not have to climb them to make out, and yet I keep ending up with them). :)
7. Captain Jack Harkness, Doctor Who -- Oh, Jack would so hit on me, but then again, he'll hit on almost anybody, so that's not me being hopeful, just realistic. ;) And I'd swoon all over him and generally make an ass out of myself.
8. Hurley, Lost -- Oh, Hurley and I would have a blast together. We'd talk all the time and have really long conversations about the stupidest things on the planet and go to the worst movies just to make fun of them. It'd be awesome.
9. Shawn Farrell, The 4400 -- Okay, I think we'd get along. Maybe not good friends or anything, but if we were in a situation where we had to interact a lot, I don't think it would be so bad at all.
10. Veronica Mars, Veronica Mars -- I like to think we'd get along, but whenever I do that, I start to realize how much I really have in common with Wallace and then I realize she'd totally use me for information and take me completely for granted. I'm not sure I would mind, because being her friend would sure make life interesting, but still.
In other news, I am so brainless today it's unreal. But it's my last day of work, so yay for the oncoming four-day weekend! *flails*

Totally unrelated Writercon question
Date: 2005-12-09 10:24 pm (UTC)As to the characters...
I'd run into Carl Kolchak from time to time, listen to him rant, stand him a round of drinks, and then use him as story fodder.
Captain Jack Harkness? Hopefully, we'd go dancing, get squiffy, and hump like bunnies.
Zhaan (Farscape)? I'd follow her around like a big goober, going, "You're so awesome".
Spike and I? Drinking buddies.
