Well, I finally cracked a thousand words on my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story and the ending's in sight, so I've got that going for me. I'm allowed to go to Narnia tomorrow (after I do my Christmas shopping -- I can't believe I don't have anything bought yet, for crying out loud) if and only if I fulfill the following conditions:

-- Finish the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story.
-- Set up the outline for the very long, episodic Supernatural story I want to write and just spent my last work week planning out in detail.
-- Type up as much as possible of the fic wishlist story idea I'm going to write.
-- Go through and answer the emails that I've been meaning to and keep putting off because I'm a slacking, procrastinating tool.
-- Dig out my Books of Boggs notes and see if I can figure out what the hell I still have to do plotting-wise. (Answer: A LOT. Stupid books. Stupid storyline. Stupid characters who've eaten my brain. *kicks them all, then dodges tomahawks and vampire fangs and wayward bottles of ketchup*)

In other news, it's snowing again. This calls for hot chocolate. Mmmm.

Hahahahaha. See my post yesterday on cracking 1000 with the yuletide fic. Yes, that would seem to be the hard part. Heh.

I think I was pretty sure up until I hit 1000 words that I wasn't sure, because I've had this idea for this particular fandom for a while, but I never actually did it because I didn't think I had the balls to do it. And up until I hit 1000 words, it was like being in the passenger's seat and having the story tell me, "It's okay. If we screw this up, we can always go to Dairy Queen and buy a fudgsicle."

Which all sounds stupid and yet frighteningly apt. :)

And now I'm almost to 2000 words. Yay!
