The status on my computer:

1. I finally got the computer to do a system recovery. It is now on the initial Microsoft screen telling me to wait.
2. And has been for the past hour.
3. Did I mention that I took a nap before and it didn't strangle me in my sleep? That was nice of it.
4. Remind me again -- poking it with a sharp stick doesn't help, right?
5. Or giving it major-league puppy-dog eyes?
6. So I suppose a virgin sacrifice is out of the question? Yes? Good, because I'm the only one I know.
7. Quick question -- how do I make the cold shivers stop?

EDIT: An 18-year-old passenger who caused a fatal crash by pulling on the steering wheel pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter after prosecutors discovered a confession on his online blog. -- It goes to show that my common sense still works, because my first reaction when I read the first paragraph was to blurt out, "Bet the stupid fucker didn't even friends-lock."

BRIDE OF EDIT: No, seriously, I won't stop pimping the zombieficathon anytime soon. Because zombies improve everything, and you can't disprove that theory. Oh, no. *waves the submission post under the noses of those most likely to be tempted by it*

Oh, I am so saving up and buying a new one. I've been wanting to, but this is a sign.

*shudder* One of my brother's dumbass friends did that to me while I was driving him and Bro home from school. The car spun out of control and we nearly went head first down a cliff. I made them both walk the rest of the way. Freakin' morons.

I don't think it works on computers but it does work on me to an absurd degree. Its really quite pathetic.
