[Poll #640511]

Well, I can't help it! After [livejournal.com profile] yuletide and with [livejournal.com profile] zombieficathon, I'm all with the remembering why I love ficathons, and it isn't like the deadline would be anytime soon (probably June 1st, at this rate, which would end up being right between [livejournal.com profile] zombieficathon and [livejournal.com profile] xmmficathon, if there's another round of that), and you could nuke the planet or give everybody Captain Trips or start another ice age or anything and it's just rife with possibilities, is what it is. *whimpers*

I think I need to go off and pet the chinchilla again. *sigh*

Anyone who is not interested in a post-apocalyptic multifandom ficathon is clearly a communist.

If a gal didn't know what you got for Christmas... Yes, my mind is in the gutter tonight. I blame the Care Bear BDSM fic.

Okay, I totally just stumbled over a plot-bunny for post-apocalyptic VM fic.

Dude, I have urges to write post-apocalyptic VM fic on a weekly basis. What kills it is that I can never decide who I want to survive. (For the [livejournal.com profile] zombieficathon, I managed to narrow it down for my request to only Logan and Veronica making it out of Neptune alive, although I was thiiiiiis close to tossing in the baby just for the hell of it.)

Yes, Logan/Veronica post-apocalyptic fic would rule, simply for the possibility of her uttering the line, "When I said we could get back together if you were the last man on Earth, I didn't think that would ever actually come to pass."

I clicked yes, but with the caveat of being able to list which fandoms we'd write for when we sign up. Because otherwise, I know I'd get assigned, say, Firefly and would have to hand the person back a thousand words of "western western gun gun chinese chinese be in my bunk kill you with my brain." I know about plenty of shows and movies, but I'm not really a fan/am not that familiar with some of the most popular LJ fandoms.

And, although I really have no desire for RPF, some tiny twisted part of me is picturing post-apocalyptic American Idol fic. :)

Oh, definitely. Honestly, I'd be the same way myself if we didn't say what we can write when we sign up. :) (Especially with Firefly. I love the show, but once was enough, even if it was just a crossover.)

Not until Grail is done, but um, maybe. If you consider post-MRA post-Apoc enough?

I love post apocalyptic movies - so a ficathon should be fun.

If you decide to do it and need help organizing or running it, feel free to let me know. I'm willing to help out because I find the idea quite fantastic!

*cries* You're a bad influence on me.

Your poll needs a third option. Something like "Please stop tempting me!!!"

I may take you up on that. This will be the first real ficathon I'm doing (and probably the last, with my attention span) and could use any help I could get. :)
