Why am I not surprised?

I came home from work this morning to discover that I set the VCR to the wrong station last night and taped American Idol instead of Supernatural. Oh, for fuck's sake. *headdesk* Well, thank God for torrents and Sunday reruns and TWoP, I suppose.

I'm just going to comfort myself with vanilla chai tea and today's A&E "Classroom", which is the first part of a "Pride and Prejudice" analysis.

EDIT: Holy crap, it's not an analysis, it's the real fucking thing! The one with Colin Firth that I totally haven't seen yet and have been dying to see for ages and ages and ages! *flails* Well, screw sleeping until I finish watching, I guess.

The only downside I've found so far is that it looks like they're showing it in hour-long drabs for the next week at seven in the morning. Considering the current behavior of my VCR, I guess that means I'll be getting some use out of my alarm clock again.

I should probably see the Kiera Knightley film so I have some actual basis on which to say the BBC version is better. But it totally is.

Heck, I knew it was better when I was seeing the Keira Knightley version, and I've never even seen a minute of this before. I do have to say that the Keira Knightley version is actually pretty good, though -- condensed, obviously, but still.
