I finished my first draft of my dissertation! Like, ten minutes ago. It is about 12,000 words long and I wrote it in two weeks and it's due in on Thursday and omg *brain dribbles out of ears*

(Also, the bloke who did the calculation in England came up with the 23rd as the most depressing day this year. Funny that.)

My Uncle got sent home from the hospital today, and a week ago they literally told us all he had two weeks to live. I was all set to come home from College today to say my final goodbyes to him. And he's been sent home, the cancer cells are diminishing. It's not a cure. But it's the best news I've had in WEEKS. Jan 24th is damned good to me today.
