apocalypsosOkay, this is probably asking for trouble, but I'm going to do it anyway.
I see all these polls on Yahoo and CNN and whatnot about Bush's chances next year in the Presidential election. Some say his chances are good for re-election, some say not so much. Frankly, I hope he gets buried in the biggest loss ever, but I despise the man, so there you go.
I want to take a poll. And not like an LJ poll, because I'd rather be able to make sure this is as fair as it comes, and this is the best way I can think of right now.
If the election were being held today, who would you vote for -- Bush, or the alternative? The Anti-Bush, if you will.
Here are the rules to this little poll ...
1. One person, one vote. If you have an LJ account, don't post anonymously. If you know people who don't have LJ accounts but would like to vote, have them post with their vote with a reference to your LJ name and/or a screen name. (Just so we don't have anybody posting over and over again.)
2. Only Americans, obviously.
3. Don't start any flame wars with anyone if they're voting for Bush or the Anti-Bush and you disagree. You don't get to fight into the voting box, you don't get to fight here.
4. Tell as many people as you know to come vote. I'll count the ballots and delete entries as I can. (Which should be loads of fun, considering I'm leaving for work at quarter after twelve. Wheee! My mailbox is going to be pretty when I come home.)
5. A simple "Bush" or "Anti-Bush" will suffice.
I'm going to be honest and fair here. Even if Bush is winning, I don't plan on fudging results, so neither should you.
So, vote away, folks. Bush, or Anti-Bush?
